My boyfriend and I went in for valentines dinner as they made it very special! Our server was awesome and the 4 course meal offered was delicious! We’ve been in a few times before and always leave full and happy! Highly recommend Blue Duck!
Update 2/2025. Still awesome. A combination of great food and great service makes Blue Duck awesome. A clean bar atmosphere for adults only to enjoy a cocktail or beer. Food was fresh prepared with good quality and big portions. A great beer selection or cocktails too. Perfect for lunch or a full dinner. Poker in the rear if you're interested. Ample off street parking. Prices are as expected. I'll be back for lunch or dinner whenever I'm in Prineville.
I've had a plethora of strokes so I enjoy lying a little bit more than most. I was at The Establishment 4 years ago. They had good food but it was hard to be here with all the cigarette smoke recently. There are new under new ownership. It's clean. Doesn't smell like cigarettes. The staff is phenomenal. The food is top notch pants down must experience for yourself!

Gracie and Kaley were both outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days, and they really made our experience memorable. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Blue Duck is definitely worth a visit. Our server checked on us frequently and timing was great. She was engaging and friendly. My rib eye was, well subpar after letting her know it was tough. She not only comped my steak but served us dessert for the inconvenience. Will definitely go back. Kaylee is the best! She cares about her customers and their experience
The food was great but the soda's had an underlying sulphur taste to my diet Pepsi. My wife's soda had a similar taste, but not as strong, so ordered a water. My wife got the chicken Alfredo and loved it. Said it's her new favorite place to eat in Prineville. I had the crispy chicken sando and it was excellent. We will return, just hope they get rid of the sulphur tasting soda. Everything else was great

This place serves up food so good, even the grizzliest customers will tip their hat in appreciation. I've tried just about everything on the menu – salads, steak, burgers, and sandwiches. In fact, I've never had a disappointing meal. The food is so good, it would make even Blue Duck himself reconsider his life choices and stay for dinner. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for a quick escape from town. Better food than the Old West and fewer gunfights. So, saddle up and head on over to The Blue Duck Saloon. Great little hidden gem along the road. Service was fantastic. Great burger, good beer selection. In town for work and asked the hotel clerk where she likes. Glad we did. Definitely my new go to when in Prineville.
